Multi-Skilled Renovation Worker – French Required

Racer Immigration Consulting Inc. is recruiting on behalf of a Canadian employer seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Renovation Worker for residential and commercial projects throughout Metro Vancouver.

We are looking for a practical and experienced worker who is comfortable performing a variety of construction, renovation, repair, installation and finishing tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Perform general residential and commercial renovation work
2. Carry out carpentry, trim and finishing work
3. Install baseboards, mouldings and other finishing materials
4. Perform drywall patching and minor repairs
5. Perform painting, caulking and finishing work
6. Carry out demolition and job-site preparation
7. Install, repair and replace flooring and tile as required
8. Perform general repairs and maintenance
9. Measure, cut and prepare construction materials
10. Operate common hand and power tools
11. Load, move and organize construction materials
12. Maintain clean and safe work areas
13. Assist with other construction and renovation work as required
14. Travel to various project locations throughout British Columbia

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on construction or renovation experience
2. Experience in multiple areas of construction or renovation is preferred
3. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience across multiple renovation trades, including tiling, flooring, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
4. Strong practical skills and attention to detail
5. Able to work independently and as part of a crew
6. Comfortable using common hand and power tools
7. Reliable and willing to travel between job sites
8. Able to communicate in English

Mandatory French Language Requirement

1. French-speaking ability is mandatory for this position.
2. Applicants must have TEF Canada or TCF Canada results demonstrating a minimum of NCLC 5 in both speaking and listening.
3. Applicants who do not meet the French-language requirement will not be considered.

Employment Details

1. Position: Multi-Skilled Renovation Worker
2. Employment: Full-time
3. Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week
4. Location: Greater Vancouver, British Columbia
5. Wage: To be negotiated
